It's ten o'clock at night and still light out.  No wonder we still can't quite get our internal clocks quite adjusted.  Another late night and slept in until 8 this morning.  We didn't get a very early start on the day so we didn't make it to the Groeningemuseum or  St-Janshospitaal, oh well I guess that means we have to come back.

We did however climb the 360 plus steps to the top the the bell tower.  Some of them were very worn stone and then they turned into very narrow wooden stairs with only a rope to hold onto.  It was worth the climb however and we made it without any major injuries.

We also visited a begijnhof which included a convent of Benedictine nuns. We then ended the day with a horse and carriage around the city.  I am quite afraid we are becoming a bit touristy, but we really enjoyed the ride anyway.

Tomorrow we are visiting our favorite pastry shop before we head off the Luxembourg for an overnight stay. 

I have truly enjoyed our stay in Brugge and hope the rest of the trip is as wonderful.
