We enjoyed the first full day in Brugge, Belgium.  I was really jet lagged yesterday (despite the Lunesta, I didn't sleep very well on the overnight flight).  I went to bed last night at 9:30 and didn't get up this morning until almost 8:30!

A little information for those of you who aren't to familiar with this area.  Bruges (Brugge in Dutch) is a very adorable and old city with Picturesque cobblestone lanes and canals.  In the 14th Century it was a major port for trading until the Zwin silted up and Brugge lost all access to the sea.

Today we did a lot of walking and browsing and yes played major tourist and took an awesome boat ride on the canal.  I have some pictures to share however they are not nearly as awesome as the real thing.

Tomorrow we are crossing the border into the Netherlands and hopefully some fun stories and picture to share with you.
